Exchange Club of Richmond Hill inducts new president

Rich­mond Hill res­i­dent Peter Leopold was induct­ed as the new pres­i­dent of the Exchange Club of Rich­mond Hill at Rich­mond Hill City Cen­ter. Matt Hodges, the out­go­ing Pres­i­dent, passed the gav­el to Peter Wednes­day, June 27th.

Peter moved to Rich­mond Hill in 2002 with Ladon­na Wright, his part­ner of 25 years, after he retired from the Chatham Coun­ty Police Depart­ment, where he had served 35 years as a sergeant.

The Rich­mond Hill Club is a group of men and women work­ing togeth­er to empow­er indi­vid­ual impact.

Our four core pro­grams of ser­vice are Amer­i­can­ism, Com­mu­ni­ty Ser­vice, Youth Activ­i­ties, and the Nation­al Exchange Club project: The Pre­ven­tion of Child Abuse.

We orga­nize sev­er­al events through­out the year, such as the Kid’s Fish­ing Der­by, Stu­dent Schol­ar­ships, and Pub­lic Safe­ty Offi­cers of the Year, while also sup­port­ing the work of oth­er char­i­ta­ble orga­ni­za­tions in our com­mu­ni­ty.

The club meets at noon on the sec­ond and fourth Wednes­day of each month at Rich­mond Hill City Cen­ter. Vis­i­tors are wel­come!
