Exchange Club of Richmond Hill inducts new president

Richmond Hill resident Peter Leopold was inducted as the new president of the Exchange Club of Richmond Hill at Richmond Hill City Center. Matt Hodges, the outgoing President, passed the gavel to Peter Wednesday, June 27th.

Peter moved to Richmond Hill in 2002 with Ladonna Wright, his partner of 25 years, after he retired from the Chatham County Police Department, where he had served 35 years as a sergeant.

The Richmond Hill Club is a group of men and women working together to empower individual impact.

Our four core programs of service are Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and the National Exchange Club project: The Prevention of Child Abuse.

We organize several events throughout the year, such as the Kid’s Fishing Derby, Student Scholarships, and Public Safety Officers of the Year, while also supporting the work of other charitable organizations in our community.

The club meets at noon on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at Richmond Hill City Center. Visitors are welcome!
