What We Do

We Empower Individual Impact

Public Safety Officers of the Year

We're pleased to honor the hard work and dedication of the public safety officers who serve our area.

Freedom Shrine

Our permanently-mounted collection of important and historic American documents, includes the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the Gettysburg Address.

Military/Veteran Recognition for Service

Each Veteran’s Day, the Richmond Hill Exchange Club donates memorial bricks to veterans with local connections.

Youth Activities

Student Scholarships

The Exchange Club of Richmond Hill partners each school year with Bryan County Schools to award scholarships for both Student of the Month and Student of the Year.

A.C.E. Award

The A.C.E. (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) Award recognizes high school students who have overcome great physical, emotional, or social obstacles and are now eligible for high school graduation.

Community Service

Birthday Kits for The WAY Station

Throughout the year, the Exchange Club gets donations and puts together birthday cake kits for The WAY Station Food Pantry.

G.O.S.F. Volunteering

As a club, our members volunteer at the Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival in order to raise money for our work in the community.

National Project: Prevention of Child Abuse

Since taking up the cause as a nationwide endeavor in 1979, Exchange Clubs across America have worked to increase awareness of child abuse and provide vital information and resources aimed at keeping it from happening.

Friends & Partners

We meet from noon–1PM on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at the Richmond Hill City Center. Visitors and prospective new members are always welcome.

Membership is a great way to get involved in making Bryan County a better place to live, stay up to date on current area events, network with others of similar interests, and develop your own leadership skills.

Help us make a difference with fundraising, too. Here's just a few things we do:

  • Annual School Calendar
  • Casino Night to Prevent Child Abuse
  • Pinwheel and CAP Pin Sales

Our operating expenses are paid by member dues, so all net proceeds from fundraising events go to support various community projects. Dues are currently $100 per quarter, one of the best bargains available among all civic and service organizations. Learn more about the benefits:
